STOCKY’S API STOPPED ON 31 AUGUST 2026
The API is gone. The screens are not, yet.
We built a tool that pulled everything out of Stocky through its API. It works, and it is three weeks too late to be of any use to you. We are not going to pretend otherwise by leaving the form up.
What is still open is Shopify’s read-only window on the Stocky screens. Shopify promised at least 90 days from the shutdown, which runs to about 29 November, roughly 46 days away. “At least” is a floor, not an end date, so treat that as the earliest it could close rather than the day it will.
That window is narrower than most people think. Here is what it actually covers.
Suppliers: names, contacts, addressesCOPY IT OUT NOW
Visible on Stocky's supplier screens and copyable by hand. There is no export button, so a store with eighty suppliers is an afternoon of typing. Do it before the read-only window closes, because nothing else reaches them.
Purchase order historySTILL READABLE
Still viewable and printable from Stocky's own reports. Worth keeping for your records, but StockApp does not need it: it rebuilds lead times from the deliveries you receive through it from now on.
Which products came from which supplierUNREACHABLE
Stocky never showed this on any screen. It existed only as a join across the purchase order line items in the API, which is why the rescue tool inferred it. With the API off there is no route to it at all. StockApp rebuilds it from your orders as you raise them.
Supplier payment terms and currencyUNREACHABLE
Stocky never stored terms or currency on a supplier, so there was nothing to lose here even while the API was up. Set them in StockApp once, per supplier.
Custom fields on variantsCOPY IT OUT NOW
Readable on the Stocky product screens only. Shopify confirmed there was never an API route to them. Copy anything you rely on before the window closes.
Products, variants, costs, stock on handSAFE IN SHOPIFY
Never at risk. These live in Shopify, not Stocky, and StockApp syncs them directly on install.
IF YOU DO ONE THING
Open Stocky’s supplier list and copy the names, contacts and addresses into a spreadsheet. It is the only item on that list with both a deadline and no alternative route. Everything else is either already unreachable or already in Shopify.
